Melanie Washington is someone who experienced God and speaks of God to each and every one of us, especially those of us who despise ourselves, despise the Bible and have given up on ourselves. She speaks to those of us who are struggling through the grudges we hold, especially in areas that are very hurtful and hard to touch, areas with the most painful scars. Through sharing her personal experience of forgiving the unforgivable such as the murder of her dearest loved ones and sexual abuse from different family members, she has been an open book. With regal grace, Melanie speaks from her heart with complete vulnerability and authenticity while sharing her real experience of wrestling with God. It can be easily related by each and every one of us. Whether you are struggling with something that you can’t forgive, trying to hide it or pretend that you have already forgiven, listening to Melanie will give you the courage and power to face yourself and confront what you have not forgiven. You will find the power to truly forgive and have the freedom to truly live and love.
Melanie Washington leads a ministry for youth in prison by inspiring them to forgive and love themselves and experience the forgiveness and love of God. Her ministry is called Mentoring A Touch from Above. It means that the true mentoring is through knowing God and experiencing God as love. She speaks at churches and in youth organizations throughout the world, inspiring everyday people to forgive, to live, and to love.

About Unplanned Good
We promote adoption as a positive option for those facing unplanned pregnancies. Open adoption can be so very good (and beautiful!) for all involved but all too often, young women think they have only two options; abortion or single parenting.
Unplanned Good is reaching out to both teens and their parents, to let them know that adoption is an option. Studies have shown that girls are 50% more likely to see their pregnancy through and make an adoption plan when an adult suggests this path. We reach both audiences through social media, newsletters, conference workshops and speaking engagements. We try to get adult mentors, teachers and parents to suggest adoption, and we try to get young women to consider this option when facing unplanned pregnancy. The testimonials on our web site are there to give them more information about open adoption today.
Please visit our site at www.UnplannedGood.org/ and encourage others to see it. Read the heartfelt personal stories there. You, too, will be convinced about the beauty of open adoption.
